Pin Mode

pin-mode

Keep a chosen application visible on the side of your primary screen at all times (Todo Mode in Rectangle). Todo Mode in Rectangle was created by Patrick Collison (CEO of Stripe) and Nat Friedman (CEO of GitHub at the time).

When a window is pinned, all other Rectangle Pro actions are adjusted so that their size and position are in the remaining screen space not occupied by the pinned window.

Configuration

Section titled “Configuration”
  • Show Pin Mode in menu
  • Enable Pin Mode
  • Application: The pinned window’s application
  • Toggle pin mode: The keyboard shortcut for toggling pin mode on and off
  • Reflow pin: The keyboard shortcut for moving the pinned window back in place and moving all windows overlapping the pinned window off.
  • Pinned app width: Specify the width, in pixels or screen percentage.
